Red Select, which is purported to be an Atropurpureum by those people that never have had or have seen the right plant of it, is a Nigrum group red of which your Maple is closest to being at this point in time. 2007年10月31日 · Also, a great product to use for transplanting and general maple health (great for all plants) is a liquid seaweed. There are lots of different brands. In Mass you can probably find Maxicrop or Neptune's Harvest at your local garden center. I am glad you found your maple. They are wonderful and addictive!!! :)

2004年6月23日 · I have both types of trees, and the Crimson Queen I have is taller than the Tamukeyama ... but that may have as much to do with how it was pruned and staked as the nature of the tree itself. To my taste, the Tamukeyama is prettier; darker (almost purple) leaves that are holding their color better during the summer, and a very graceful form.

Also, when would you typically repot them and do you systematically prune the roots? I only have 3 Japanese maples but I am definitely addicted (Aka Ne, Chantilly Lace, Kuro Hime). You have certain type of architecture that integrates trees in houses, but it does so by opening roofs, and isolating the tree with glass under the roof opening. But I think Snow Cherries wants to keep a maple in a 'regular' indoors environment.

2020年7月16日 · Tamukeyama maples are prone to this due to their compact nature, not allowing free flow of air to circulate. Where you place it is also important and more sun will help. Hope this is of help and again do not worry.
