These watches were branded as Chateau, Takano Chateau, Chateau Nouvel, Chateau Deluxe, Chateau Frontier and Chateau Calendar. 2024年7月31日 · Hajime Asaoka’s Precision Watch Tokyo company revives historic Japanese brand Takano with the Observatoire de Besançon-certified Chateau Nouvelle Chronometer.

Takano’s pinnacle was a 23 jewel manual wind movement adjusted in 5 positions. They also had three ranges of women’s watches. Takano is often referred to as a “phantom” watchmaker due to the very short period during which the watches were produced under the Takano name/brand.
