2024年3月26日 · The reply you have there is inaccurate. Blue tabby is a dilute of brown tabby. Brown tabby is the tabby version with black stripes, blue or grey tabby is the version with blue or dilute stripes. There isn't a brown tabby and a grey tabby and a blue tabby. They don't know what they are talking about. You cat is blue, or dilute, tabby.

Cream color cats are just dilute oranges (and all oranges are tabby). Dilution isn't sex-linked the way color is, so all the stats on orange cats apply. Most orange cats are male. Something like 20% are female. So they are typically male, but there are many orange female cats out there. I've got one named Fizz.

2023年10月25日 · Look up “single kitten syndrome” and consider getting him a buddy— really, 2 kittens are less work than 1. The other big mistake I’ve made in the past and that a lot of other cats owners make it using your hand as a toy to wrestle the kitten with.

In "kitten season" (spring to fall) when cats are popping out more kittens than anyone knows what to do with, there are just more kittens than shelters can sometimes handle. A lot of the time you can adopt a bit more quickly, but when the rescuers have more time and resources they have the luxury to be choosey on the best forever home.

2024年6月10日 · I’m a first time cat owner. I really wanted a pet as I’m now living alone and thought a cat might be the perfect pet for me. Always been a dog person. I Found someone on Craigslist whose bengal cat accidentally had kittens with a tabby cat. I was instantly interested as I thought bengals were so pretty.

My wife and I ended up with a kitten that was found on the side of the road. Took her to the vet to get fixed and was told she was a black smoke and how rare it was. She doesn’t have the tabby lines, but she has a black overcoat and a light grey under. We shave her in the summer. She looks absolutely like an awkward Oreo and it’s great lol.
