2024年11月5日 · There's no more notable sign of differences in US and UK culture than when it comes to bunnies and batteries. In the US, Energizer famously uses a bunny mascot whereas over in the UK, Duracell makes use of such a mascot bunny instead.

Channel 4 was launched on November 2nd 1982, over 20 years after the launch of the first independent television station and intended to show programming with an alternative remit, commissioned from other production companies.

The CBeebies Channel launched in February 2002 alongside CBBC, targeted at a much younger audience. With a mix of both homegrown BBC content and acquired content, the channel proved particularly popular with parents due to the lack of advertising in use on the channel.

The next 'refreshed' ident to air on BBC Two on launch day on October 20th was a 'sign zone'. A second batch of idents based on January's work from Sharon Walters and Mark Lane was stealthily introduced on Monday January 18th, marking the first time an ITV Creates set had seen mid-month additions from the same piece.

The ITV1 name makes its onscreen return in a low-key ident at 6am on November 15th 2022. The new idents from the rebrand consisted of a series of the same locations used across all ITV channels, just with different action happening depending upon the particular channel.

On 16th July 2024, U&Drama welcomed viewers to the rebranded channel with a long version of the Street Party ident. The same as it had been before, just with the new logo overlaid.

As part of the rebrand of the UKTV network of channels, Yesterday was rebranded as U&Yesterday on 16th July 2024. As the previous presentation had been so heavily based around the 'Y' device, this was the channel to see the biggest overhaul with all new idents introduced alongside other presentation changes.
