Feb 12, 2023 · I've downloaded TF2 HUDs (BudHUD, ToonHUD, etc.) from multiple websites (Gamebanana, GitHUB) and not a single one worked. I look for the most recent .zip file and download it, from there I export it to my Downloads folder and then bring the extracted folder to my TF2 custom folder (steamapps - common - Team Fortress 2 - tf - custom).

Toonhud is great for people who want to customize their hud without actually having to learn how to customize it under the hood. I also recommend Rays and Budhud, as those are my two favorites. I currently use Budhud, which also has a fair bit of customization.

So I would like to know what TF2 HUD is recommended for max performance even if you have a low-end computer. P.S. I don't know if HUDS actually improve the FPS but still recommended me some if they do.

May 19, 2018 · highlight the "eve hud" folder and right click it then select "copy" like this. go to the folder tf\custom and right click somewhere empty in the folder and select paste. This should paste the eve hud folder into custom and look like this. the hud is now installed. I started TF2 tested it and following these exact steps it works for me.

Aug 8, 2022 · Improved Default Hud. In my opinion. Every other HUD is out of place, while Default HUD looks cool and doesn't look so out of place. The custom HUDs are usually position Health and Ammo counter closer to the center, it may be useful for someone, but I find it...eh. Now, Improved Default HUD is basically default HUD but it improves it.
