Swanpool is a beautiful sand and shingle beach with easy parking, fabulous food at the outdoor Swanpool Beach café, crazy golf course, water-sports and kayak hire.

Swanpool Beach is a delightful swimming cove with adjoining Swanpool Lake Nature Reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Excellent watersport centre where you can try your hand at dinghy sailing, kayaking or windsurfing.

Swanpool (Cornish: Lynyeyn Pryskelow, meaning cold pool of the elm thicket) is a small coastal saline lagoon with a shingle bar, separating it from the beach of the same name. The South West Coast Path crosses the bar. The pool is near the town of Falmouth, on the south coast of Cornwall, England, UK, between Maenporth and Gyllyngvase.

Swanpool beach is a small, sandy cove on the outskirts of Falmouth, its sheltered, clear turquoise bay is the perfect swimming spot, whilst the nearby water sports centre offers visitors the chance to try sailing, kayaking and wind surfing.

Swanpool Beach is a lovely little beach with cute beach huts. It is dog friendly in April and early May. There is a little cafe serving drinks and food at the back of the beach. The walk from Swanpool along the coastal path to Falmouth is lovely and only takes 10 minutes.

These facilities are open every day throughout the year except Christmas Day and are maintained by Falmouth Town Council. Between 1st July and 31st August dogs are not allowed on the beach between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Dogs on leads are welcome to visit the cafe where we always have some water for them to drink.
