2024年5月23日 · The SUS TDI kit is very nice. The billet parts are well made, the hoses are already cut to length and it comes with pretty much everything you need to delete the EGR Cooler. I did have to source some of the other gaskets as they didn't have them in stock.

Aug 2023: Improved coolant routing to move sensor parallel to axis of engine rather than at an angle between thermostat and intermediate flange. Improves clearance with intake manifold and eliminates the need to trim jacket on harness for sensor plug to remove strain on the wires.

2023年12月22日 · Thanks to this write-up and information added along the way, I’m nearly finished with a complete valley reseal and EGR cooler delete, along with DPF, SCR, and swirl flaps deletes, PLUS a Euro t-stat, downpipe (thanks to a surprise busted flex pipe!), and injector re-seal with Malone ECU and TCU tunes to capstone it all.

My two big questions: - Does this year Touareg require hardware modification to delete EGR function? What about egr cooler function? - What is the consensus for deleting or keeping the EGR on these?

2019年1月6日 · EGR cooler failures aren't that common on the CNRBs (internal leaks). External valley leaks from oil cooler/bypass valve/EGR flange/etc are common. Find a real mechanic, a valley reseal shouldn't cost anywhere close to $4k to fix.

2023年2月28日 · Standalone: guarantee isolation of intake from exhaust. The egr valve in particular the bypass valve on gen2 are not airtight and can also be stuck open partially from soot. Although my experience from seeing a car with Malone egr off after intake cleaning is that the tune DOES keep the valve closed effectively. Intake was still spotless no sludge.
