What are SUPLASYN injections? SUPLASYN is a prefilled injection (ready to use), to be injected locally into the knee, to help absorb shock and lubricate the joint bones (knee joint), allowing the bones forming the joint to glide over each other smoothly, and this leads to relieving the symptoms of bone degeneration (Arthritis)>

How is Suplasyn administered? Your doctor will administer Suplasyn® intra-articularly into the synovial space of your affected joint. Each administration of Suplasyn® takes only a few minutes and can be administered by a physician. Routinely once inside the medical consult, you will be asked to sit or lie in a comfortable position.

Suplasyn is supplied as 2ml solution in a pre-filled syringe. The recommended schedule is 1 injection per week for 3 weeks, but up to 6 may be given depending on patient’s condition.

The introduction of Suplasyn into the synovial space will assist in the normalization of the function and rheological properties of the joint. Indications and Clinical Uses: As a replacement for synovial fluid following arthrocentesis.
