Stag Lodge Stables was founded in 1790 and is home to 70+ horses, ranging from little Shetland ponies up to 16-hand hunters, all of them selected for their temperament and good nature, and suitable for riders of all ages and abilities.

Here at Stag Lodge Stables we cater for children from the age of three on our little Shetland ponies right up to 16-year-olds who want to take on the more challenging disciplines such as jumping or dressage.
