Feb 28, 2009 · On a taco, its just a trim/option level. Years back, a sports option package for the old Corolla SR5 (early 70s I think). S was sport, R was the new higher hp engine and 5 was the tranny - 5 speed. Nice quick little car - but they still rusted faster than their 1/4 mile times.

Jan 27, 2017 · The sr. Get it in manual (the "5" in sr5 is five speed )so that you have 95% less complaints if you went with an auto Sr5. 4 cyl, because forever. I promise the 4cyl mated to a manual will feel awesome.
