Saving Pets One at a Time About Us
In the hopes of increasing the animal "adoption options" in Skagit County and beyond, a group of animal lovers got together in the Fall of 1999 and started a non profit alternative animal rescue and placement organization called Saving Pets One at a Time (SPOT).

Ways to Help - spot
* Keep the foster animal clean and maintain an awareness of health needs * Provide transportation for animal to veterinary clinic (example: spay/neuter appointments) * Provide a ‘New Home Profile’ for adoption placement
Adoption Info - spot
SPOT’s policy includes a two week post adoption in home trial. If the pet is returned during that period the adoption proceeds will be refunded (all but $25/dog and $15/cat). SPOT accepts cash and credit cards for adoption donations.
Surrender - spot
If you do not hear back from a SPOT volunteer within 48 hours, please follow up with a phone call or email. A surrender donation is appreciated whenever possible! This donation helps to feed and shelter the animal during the time period that the animal is in foster care.
