And modern maid was selling ranges that incorporated a dishwasher built by D & M and for whatever reason they decided to market some of these same appliances under the Speed Queen name back in the 70s I've never even seen a Speed Queen dishwasher.

I saw some of their, popular range/dishwashers,wall ovens and refrigerators SQ tagged but already knew they were Amana and Modern Maid,not SQ.

They'd also have a pots and pans cycle as well as a sensor cycle. I don't care about style. I want clean dishes. Maybe they could fill that niche market.

2008年3月25日 · Many years ago about 32 to be exact I remember seeing a speed queen dishwasher model in a local appliance store in Teaneck New Jersey. It was most deffinatly D&M. It was a nice machine with a dial and about 4 pushbuttons. I wish I could see the complete model list they had at the time.

2024年10月8日 · This Speed Queen was not born bad, lol they all come off the assembly line the same of course it’s possible that you would get a small defect and a porcelain finish, but the entire inner tub would not rust unless it was exposed to extreme amounts of bleach or some sort of acid type Chemical cleaners, I’m gonna guess that it was some sort of ...

There was one marketed by Speed Queen as well as one by Modern Maid. I do recall someone cautioning that if you ever needed to replace the dishwasher and put a plastic tub unit into this frame, you might have troubles!
