2019年3月4日 · I opted for what I felt was the simplest SACD ripping method: using "autorip" script on a USB drive connected to a compatible blu-ray player (I'm using a Sony BDP-S590). It works great, but I bought a 124GB USB drive and want to try fill that up with SACD ISOs before transferring to my Mac all together for converting to FLAC.

2019年4月24日 · Rechecked the IP address hasn't changed. The routine I follow is with the unit powered off (Sony BDP-S590) I plug the drive into the front containing the AutoScript folder. In the folder are the three files AutoScript, AutoScript.TSS and sacd_extract. When the unit powers on the tray will open and I insert the sacd disc.

2019年2月9日 · Sony BDP-S590 is declared to read SACD-R discs. But only up to firmware version M12.R.0430, according to the list on link. I was offered here in Brazil an used S590 for just US$ 25. My current "SACD" player is the Sony BDP-S380, which supports SACD-R in any firmware version, but it has no DLNA, which S590 has.

2019年2月9日 · Seemed to work simply and flawlessly on my old Sony S590. Used a 32G USB stick (NTFS) with the Autoscript folder copied to it. Followed the simple instructions and the display just kept flashing LOADING. Went off to vacuum (retiree taking up housewife chores!) and returned to find the player...

2019年3月4日 · The Sony cost me $30 and I just prefer to use that to rip SACD since I read somewhere that the ripping process puts extra wear on the players. I only use my Oppos for blu-ray movie playback at this point, now that I've ripped nearly my entire collection of SACD, DVD-A and blu-ray, so I won't be playing any of those audio discs anymore.

After researching quite a bit I decided to keep it simple and got a Sony BDP-S590 from ebay and downloaded Autorip and put it on a USB stick and ripped my first SACD (Depeche Mode's Violator, which contains stereo and MC).

2019年2月9日 · Very happy to have completed my first SACD rip today! However, I'm getting speeds of only 0.20-0.30MB/second. Has anyone else experienced speeds that slow and been able to do something about it? I have a Sony BDP-S590 connected directly to an iMac with a crossover CAT6 cable. The two discs I ripped so far have taken about two hours each.
