2018年4月8日 · Gentlemen, i'm more than happy to report that the Sigma 500mm f/4 canon mount (newest version) works excellent with MC11 when pair up with Sony A9. * ALL NATIVES FEATURES are available. (Eye-AF, Zone, AF-C, etc..) * AF speed is super fast and accurate for BIF. * It has no problem tracking subject in an erratic movement.

2018年2月13日 · The A9 will likely have better signal/noise ratio and be better for single frames. If you know how to stack and layer different exposures, I'd roll with the R2 or R3 everytime for that extra sharpness. And as someone who agonized over star eater for the longest time, it's absolutely 100% overblown in practice.

The camera is a math engine and +90% sky vs bird will always default to the sky unless you are very very accurate in tracking a small spot using spot metering.

Is there anyone else out there using the same setup and believes that the Canon lens with the a9 are sharp enough that you wouldnt have to rush into buying Sony lens for now?
