2021年1月26日 · Well, 2 years ago, father in law got a Snow Joe Blower for birthday. Used it for about 3 months then motor stoped. Light worked and battery was ok. Called and they sent a new one. This winter he used it a total of 3 times. The last time, he plugged the battery in, took it out the shed and started blowing.

2023年2月6日 · Only one was in the machine when I overstressed it. It seems unlikely, but possible, that both batteries have failed. Both take a full charge and show the 3 green lights on the batteries. The damage done to the snow blower was probably my fault, in that I pushed it kind of hard in wet snow. I usually replace the battery when the snow blower quits.

2021年2月21日 · I was running my SnowJoe iON18SB through about 2" of slushy snow, when the auger suddenly stopped. The battery shows 3 greens, the light works, and the chute motor works. There was no snow clogging the auger, and my model doesn't have a safety key (apparently this is a newer version of the iON18SB).

2024年11月17日 · My Snow Joe cordless Snow blower iON18SB spins for a few seconds, stops and spins for a few more secs and stops. The Light and snout turner works even when the motor stops. The belt still looks good not sure what could be the problem.

2014年1月18日 · I have a 13.5 Amp Snow Joe and it works great for a very short time. It seems the thermal protection shuts it off by just blowing a few inches of normal snow for less than 5 minutes. I have thought of bypassing the thermal device but then I risk burning out the motor. Any advice? Has anyone had this problem with a Snow Joe?

2021年12月13日 · It turned out that the original battery was just fine, and neither one would fire up the blower. Both batteries measured at 41.7V. I started by taking apart the control unit on the handlebar and tested all three switches (lighting, interlock & chute control) for proper function.

2014年2月19日 · I have a Snow Joe S120 and it has been working fine. today I stopped it, unplugged it, and moved it to a new location. When I plugged it in again, it won't start. I have tried different outlets, different extension cord. Nothing works. Has anyone had a similar problem? If so, how did you resolve it.

2021年12月20日 · Just bought a Snow Joe 22 inch Snow blower model SJ626E 2 weeks ago. I took it out the first time today. It doesn’t work. After an initial cranking noise for about 1 second, the machine fell dead. I tried several times. Nothing happens. I know how to operate the starter switch because I have a similar safety switch on my lawn mower.

2024年1月8日 · This first snowfall I took my 10 inch snow Joe 24v electric shovel out to clear my driveway. I purchased this item on ebay. The motor ran briefly and stopped. This repeated until I could smell the motor. The battery had been fully charged and sitting ready for winter. Are there similar issues or advice on repair?
