Project AHO on the other hand while visually good, is middling/average in the story and characters, and feels bloated with little to no replaybility value. Obviously I would take Forgotten City over AHO in this case. I even heard/read worse things about Carved Brink, another mod by the same team behind AHO.

Great music, beautiful environs, strong characters, but mediocre writing, plot, and with variable voice acting, AHO is definitely worth a download if you have the space and are looking for an entertaining three-ish hour quest mod.

2021年2月19日 · There's precedent for this set ages ago. Skyrim just makes you close your eyes to anything outside of the character's power fantasy. Like how the Grey Quarter isn't actually cleared out when the Stormcloaks win. If you want that, then play another mod that caters to the Vanilla Skyrim experience.

2023年5月17日 · Yeah, I had similar issues with both this mod and the team's other project, Carved Brink. Unparalleled level design and atmosphere, at best lackluster quest design and story. The latter especially is a problem in Carved Brink, to the point where (to me at least) the story was completely incomprehensible.

2023年5月28日 · Yup, that's how AHO starts. Kinda sucks that it's right in the path to Kynesgrove too, so it interrupts the follow Delphine mission too. Anyway, I think when this happened to me I had to load an older save.
