2022年12月26日 · My grandfather started me shooting early, like 6-7 years old. My first gun was a single shot, break-open 410 shotgun and it shot a lot of rabbits and squirrels, I mean a LOT. Mom was a single parent raising five kids, so we depended on game for meat and my job was to supply game and milk the cows.

My 9-year-old (~65 lbs.) wanted to shoot trap but couldn't tolerate the recoil of a 12ga single and didn't have the left arm strength to hold up a long and heavy Rem1100 for a complete round. I got him a Baikal .410 single shot and and a MEC 600 jr. and he now reloads and shoots .410 with great enthusiasm.

Patened August 12, 1913 410 Bore 12 M-M Only numbers I can find are on the underside of the barrel 584 BN and the same number on the inside frame 584 BN .

Under the handle stock is a letter D, below that: 44841, and below that P. I was wondering if anyone can tell me about it. I'd like to know how old the gun is and approximate value.

It is a model 101.10041 Barrel says proof tested .410 bore 2 1/2 & 3 inch shells The only other markings on the barrel are stamped almost on top near the muzzle it has SP8
