2016年3月19日 · The brown ruined the appearance of the grips in my eye. There was a P220 Extreme there also with black and grey Piranha grips but they had no brown in them. They looked so much better to me. If the P220 grips were on the P226, I would be attaching pics of my new P226 Extreme. Instead, I left empty handed.

2014年5月9日 · The Extreme especially, but the Scorpion too, the grips look MUCH nicer than the ones on Sig's website. I love the Extreme grips but really like the Scorpion. But if you want to change, there are a lot of options out there to fit the P226. You may want to check out all the options before spending on Cerakote on the grips. Just a thought.

2023年1月10日 · So ive been looking into getting the sig p226 and i see there are a few different versions of it. Im looking at the Extreme and the Scorpion the only difference i see is of course is the dark earth finish and the bigger beavertail.

2016年12月15日 · The P226 is a great gun in any package. I like the looks of a beavertail on a SIG but they really are not needed . The design of the standard frame accomplishes what a beavertail does for helping to find that "firm grasp" and there is no possibility of slide bite on a classic P-series.

2016年3月9日 · Does anyone know if the Sig P226 Extreme 9mm (E26R-9-XTM-BLKGRY) is still being manufactured. I don't see it on Sig's list of discontinued pistols, but I also can't find it in stock at any local gun stores in NJ. It's also is pretty scarce online. It's still shown on the Sig web site, but so are some pistols on Sig's list of discontinued pistols.

2017年1月20日 · In my opinion the Extreme brought a very good package of options for the p226. Front slide striations (great for press checks), g-10 grips, SRT Trigger (both short reach and short re-set). The only modification I have made to mine was to send the slide back to Sig to have them swap out the front Siglight night sight for the Truglo TFO front sight.

2020年4月21日 · I have a P226 Extreme in .40S&W. There was a whole line of Extreme models. They have the Hogue Black/Gray Extreme G10 Piranha grips and the SRT action. It has the Elite slide wit forward cocking serrations but no beaver tail frame. Mine was purchased when the short extractor was still being used.

2019年1月21日 · An extreme is basically just a normal p226 lower with an elite slide and g10 grips+srt. At this point, the only thing it has above the elite is the grips which are easily interchangeable. The frame isn't though.
