2017年11月14日 · I'm extremely recoil sensitive(can only shoot a 410) and have tried everything. A vest(or shirt) with the recoil pad insert is my favorite recoil reducer. The best IMO is the ShockEater. I also have the Browning and Beretta and they are good, but not as good as the ShockEater. When the weather is hot I use the ShockEater shirt instead of a vest.

2016年7月27日 · I learned long ago there are several ways to tame recoil. A shoulder pad will help a lot and most shooting vest have them sewn in. You may have to look around or order on line but, they are available . Next a recoil reducer and good soft recoil pad will help. Barry C. Roach recommended the "Triple Magnum" recoil pad and it is certainly a good one.

2012年3月7日 · Either pad allows me to shoot all day, with regard to recoil. I did buy a Filson shirt with their shooting pad insert but felt it was too "clumsy" and "bulky", hard for me to get a good mount...just didn't feel right. Use whatever fits you correctly and you are comfortable with.

2020年10月18日 · You could do the same thing with the pad pictured or place in a fabric sack or envelope and put the Velcro on the sack. Make the sack long enough to allow you to place it far past your shoulder, towards your back and the pad hang in the proper position in front of your shoulder. The more Velcro you use, the less likely the pad will shift on you.

2024年4月15日 · To help with recoil as a young lad. After 2 years of shooting with one. I could not stand them anymore!!! It was the in thing to do back then. You had to have your name on your vest. You had to have a patch of all the clubs you shot at. You had to have all your 25, 50, 75, and 100 strait patches sewn onto your shooting vest as well.

2023年5月17日 · I have the $50 browning trapper creek shooting vest with the browning G3 recoil pad and love it. Pad fits perfectly in the pocket and doesnt sag down like I see others complain about other setups. FWIW I am 5' 10" 190 and wear the size L.
