Some say it was done by an algorithm, shifting the most common colour of a Pokémon by a certain value to create the shiny. Others claim this "certain value" has never been determined, and that shiny colours were picked manually.

I'm new to shiny hunting, but I want to give this method a try and after being convinced I was doing something wrong, it led me here. After finally figuring out this issue and re-rolling the spawn, I got my shiny Rufflet INSTANTLY. I am fucking floored! Thanks so much for this! What an insane way to get shinies. I'm excited to find even more!

2020年12月3日 · He meant a Rufflet from an egg == a Rufflet from a raid. It's species specific. Giratina has a chance of 1/20 being shiny (all legendaries do). So it requires less raids to get a shiny Giratina than it would eggs to hatch a shiny of any other pokemon.

From a Pokémon Go perspective, I suppose Rufflet makes sense to go for. From an overall shiny hunting perspective, Rufflet, Hoothoot and Doduo are all available in SV and thus are easy to hunt, while Spearow can be found in LGPE and Spearow and Taillow in BDSP. That makes Taillow the hunt target of choice from my perspective.

2022年2月3日 · If you don't get a shiny, reload your camp save, go back to Jubilife, come back to the area, and SAVE at the camp again. Repeat steps 4-8 until you get the shiny. Using this method I can do the full cycle every 3-5 minutes depending on travel time to the spawn, and I've been averaging a shiny an hour at minimum.

Is Rufflet still that rare? Even if it’s full odds, the fact that it was a research breakthrough this month means every active player should have had 4-5 Rufflet shiny checks this month, which means roughly 1/125 trainers probably obtained it. I would put something like Spearow above it.
