2019年8月4日 · The problem is Poliwag doesn't spawn around here at all, so even though it'll always be available, my chances of randomly lucking into a Poliwag and it being shiny on top of that are almost 0%.

A couple tips that might help defeat 60 of them before you activate the sandwich power since the chances of a shiny are increased after 60. Also, instead of defeating them, after you defeat 60 of them, open and close your picnic since that resets the spawn without lowering the count.

Great suggestion. Do You maybe have a different idea or words that are better suited for this title? Maybe "Every available shiny shadow Pokemon from the release of Pokemon GO until today" ?

I caught a 14/15/15 CP 610 (lvl 26) shiny Poliwag today, and I’m wondering whether I should evolve it into a Poliwrath or Politoed. From my research it seems that Poliwrath is the better Pokemon overall but I like how shiny Politoed looks.

The spawn rates are very boosted yet no one in my community has caught a shiny Poliwag since the water event started. Hoping someone from the Silph community can post a screenshot of a shiny Poliwag caught since the water event started? EDIT: A few screenshots were posted about two hours after this thread was created.

Still no screenshots of shiny Poliwag caught between Friday 8/23 1PM PDT until the following Monday morning. It would seem shiny Poliwag was accidentally deactivated and reinstated once this thread reached critical mass.
