Shaun is the main character of the series and the leader of the flock. He is a clever sheep and keeps his head. He has a good friendship with Bitzer and very smart. He is voiced by Justin Fletcher. Bitzer is the strict and loyal dog of the farmer, and Shaun's friend.

Shaun the Sheep is a British stop-motion animated silent children's television series which is developed by Aardman Animations. A spin-off in the Wallace & Gromit franchise, the series focuses on the adventures of Shaun, the eponymous sheep previously starring in A Close Shave, as the leader of his flock on an English farm.

The Farmer is the main human character from Shaun the Sheep. Like the other characters in the series, he has no dialogue in the series, but he often mutters, grunts and screams on some occasions. He is a tall middle aged man with a pole-shaped nose and large bald spot on his head.
