At what point in Magic's history did Serra Angel become a bad card?
Serra angel: I’m not 100% sure when lost it’s glory. Examples of strictly better angels that were printed are, exalted angel, Baneslayer Angel, and most recently Lyra. Shivan dragon: there have been many dragons printed that had more success than shivan, but I still see people playing shivan regularly, in Commander, and friendly games.

2021年5月1日 · Ironically enough, Morphling actually replaced Serra Angel as the finisher of choice for control decks in older formats, basically the progenitors of Vintage and Legacy, Type 1 and 1.5. 2018年4月3日 · Serra Angel, unlike Tetzimoc, can be beaten if you have removal - and Serra Angel, unlike Glorybringer, exists in a format with good removal. The trend I'm hoping for is basically lifting the baseline power level of the Commons and Uncommons a bit, and letting the Rares and Mythics be quirky and cool.
