Mar 5, 2010 · I think knowing the "provenance" of an used item certainly helps. This site provides a mechanism to get to know our potential transaction partners. Ebay is less like that, and I doubt that I'd buy many used shoes from them (I've purchased 1 pair). I do buy used items (mainly jackets - but sometimes suits).
