Seaton Sluice is a village in Northumberland. It lies on the coast at the mouth of the Seaton Burn (a small river), midway between Whitley Bay and Blyth . In the 2021 census the village had a population of 2,956.

We love walking our dog along the beach at Seaton Sluice, a long expanse of sandy beach, with views of blyths pier to the northern end, and Seaton Sluice harbor at the other. Plenty of free car parks along the entire seafront, great pubs for food and drink, and a nice fish and chip shop at the southern end of the beach!

At the other end a promenade and plaza with a good cafe, and military attractions, plus beach huts and solar-powered showers. I don't see what's not to like.
