2019年8月14日 · The shouldered seat belt bolt bottoms out and tightens against the floor nicely and allows the belt to pivot and "float" a bit. The bolt is also a locking type so it doesn't loosen up. The hole is also sized for the shoulder and I believe the whole assembly is stronger overall than just using a bolt.

2023年11月30日 · Seat belts were required in ANY potential seating location, which would be three in the back, even on the narrower convertible rear seats. Many times, the center belts were left "stored" under the rear seat cushion, although attached to the seat belt bolts, from the factory. Just some thoughts, CBODY67

2019年8月21日 · Then I sifted through my big pile of bolts, and found four grade 8 bolts and used those to re-attach the rear belts. They ain't going nowhere, no how. In an ironic twist of kharma, the bolt on the driver's belt (right side of that belt, transmission hump), evidently had been ground off for some reason.

2024年1月12日 · I have the rear seat out to be reupholstered, so I'm looking at the installation of rear seat belts. I read the thread on the the '68 300 and that answered some of the questions. Attached are a couple of pics of the right rear floor area. The left side is identical. It looks like the outboard belts are mounted at the base of the wheel well.

2019年12月7日 · The only sensors for the interlock were under the front seats (green and grey wires) and front belts. Sometimes if you put cargo on the front seat, it would trip the switch because the system sensed weight (like a person) but no seat belt fastened on that side. I sold my 74 FSM with my Imperial so I no longer can access diagrams.
