Seal Beach is a coastal city in Orange County, California, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 25,242, up from 24,168 at the 2010 census. Seal Beach is located in the westernmost corner of Orange County. To the northwest, just across the border with Los Angeles County, lies the city of Long Beach and the adjacent San Pedro Bay.

Seal Beach is named after the seals that once frequented its beachfront. Today, the city is filled with quaint neighborhoods and hometown appeal. Wide, sandy expanses and several great surf spots make Seal Beach a favorite community among locals, and conditions are ideal for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and building sandcastles.

My cousin, best friend, and I decided to take a cruise to the Mexican Riviera, but stayed in Seal Beach prior to the cruise. We absolutely loved it here. The town is so quaint, friendly, and beautiful. Felt very safe. It was fun to walk out on the pier. It was a bit windy, but we enjoyed the sun, watching the people and a few surfers.
