I didn't know if there was an alternative to using them versus the other or if it should be traded off on. Any inputs helpful as I haven't found a whole lot on my question specifically.

2011年3月21日 · We recommend using 500mL of SeaGel per each 80-120 gallons of water. Therefore, since you have 55 gallons of water, you should use roughly 350-400mL of SeaGel in your reactor. 2011年3月22日 · However, Seagel does have Phosguard in it yet it does not exhaust after 4 days. Sorry Pink4miss but I think you misread the label. After 4 days you should test phosphates and continue using the product until your phosphates begin to rise. Than you know how long the product will work in your specific situation.
anyone try SEAGEL? the carbon and phos mixture?

2012年2月7日 · I have made some changes in the tank including flow and lighting and brand of carbon. Went from dual T5 to Quad T5 and upgraded Korallias to Vortechs. Stopped using seachem seagel and started BRS carbon. I also did a couple months of GFO and then stopped it just using the Seachem phosguard in small amounts instead as was in the seagel.
