Kyle Hill and Smarter Every Day are outstanding science communicators who cover a wide range of topics. Overly Sarcastic Productions is also an excellent world history (Blue) and literature history (Red) channel. AI and Games does fascinating breakdowns of the design principles behind AI systems, user interfaces, and game design in general.

Before I cut the cord, I had a fairly high end package from Spectrum but it didn’t include the Science channel. It (like YTTV) did include the SyFy channel but that channel has a very loose connection with any real scence. What this suggests to me is that, unfortunately, very few Americans have an interest in real science.

1.9K votes, 186 comments. true. Sabine is on the list; she’s under Space. I think she would fit much, much better under general science though since she covers a wide breadth of topics and her speciality in her research in physics isn’t even astro anyway.
What Youtube Physics channels are reliable and informative?
Sabine Hossenfelder focuses on debunking a lot of physics misinformation that is out there. The tagline of her channel is "science without the gobbledegook". She crusades against sensationalist science reporting in particular. To that end, she recently started doing her own weekly science news digests, not limited only to physics.
Can you share with me some Japanese science YouTube channels?
Quizknock is a pretty popular Japanese youtube channel that occasionally makes science videos. The topics they discuss are pretty simple and I’m not sure if this is the type of videos you’re looking for, but it’s pretty fun to watch and some of the videos have English subtitles I believe.
