2014年3月27日 · FYI, here's the response I received from Lippert to an email inquiry regarding lubricating the Schwintek slide out system: Good Morning Frank~ Thank you for your inquiry~ The only lubrication we recommend using is the CRC Power Lube in a green can. It can be found at places such as Fastenal or Grainger. Thank You and Have a nice day~

2023年11月6日 · In prior schwintek slide models that torque shaft was tapered at the top near the drive motor. That tapered area had a tendency to twist. Doing so one one side caused the spur gear to be misaligned with the gear rack. That's the popping sound you hear. The creaking comes from the slide box moving while out of alignment.
