2017年1月31日 · This is an experience very close to my own. I had my right knee replaced in 2006. I also had aggressive scar tissue immediately after my knee replacement. Ultimately, I had to have two post-surgery knee manipulations where they put me back under and broke the scar tissue up by bending my knee manually.

2022年9月29日 · I am searching for post TKR problems. My surgery was on 2-19-24 and I have been having PT ever since. My ROM is still only 75 degrees and I am very discouraged. I also had the manipulation done on 4-12-24. I went to my surgeon today and he suggested a "revision of the components" which means another knee surgery!!! He says I don't have scar tissue.

Currently my knee is stuck at 75 - 80 degrees flexion, extension is 100% (full extension).

2023年3月25日 · Doctor said “it bends” after manipulation and showed me video. Had PT for 16 weeks. Knee stayed swollen, scar tissue took over, ROM went from 35 to 20 over 4 years. Fast forward - New surgeon discovered original implant was defective & ill fitting. He performed Revision TKR Nov 22’. It took an hour just to remove scar tissue!

2018年9月12日 · I’m doing acupuncture, dep tissue massage, myofacial release and Graston technique .gor my scar tissue. I have definitely seen improvement, but I’m a year out of TKR and was considering giving Lazer a shot. I haven’t looked into the cost yet. My chiropractor is just beginning to do it.

2017年1月31日 · I had knee replacement surgery 6 weeks ago . Through PT I have been working on breaking up the scar tissue only for it to regrow by the time I get back to PT two days later. I have been massaging at home, using a hand held massager and roller. It is painful and swollen. I am getting very disheartened. Any suggestions as to what else I can do.

2023年12月30日 · Had 2nd knee surgery to remove lots of scar tissue. After 6 months the sutures aren't dissolving. The are visible under the skin as big bumps in a row. Very painful as it feels like they are coming through the skin.
