I've been meaning to research the ease of pillar bedding and I've considered getting better bottom metal. I've also been considering adding a cheek riser (kydex drill through the stock type).

2018年2月6日 · I have my savage in one of the leopard stocks. It’s a great stock and I’m kinda sad they aren’t making them any more. I have been thinking about switching it out recently though as my daughter likes to shoot the 93 but it's just too big for her.

2018年5月9日 · Ive modified the factory stock on mine and unless Ryan McMillan at Grayboe comes out with a Savage MKII inlet for the Renegade I'll probably move over to Oryx. With Oryx, they have such a broad range I can have the same stock for a Savage Rimfire, Ruger American, Howa, Remington, Tika, CZ, whatever!

When you pull the action from the stock, you will see the accutrigger has 2 springs behind the trigger. The heavier coil spring on top, and a smaller spring underneath. They supply a tool to adjust the smaller bottom spring with.

2020年8月27日 · The Savage mk2 TR sounds good with the adjustable trigger, hbar, and factory wood stock similar to my B&C. Are there good prefit barrels available? Are their triggers able to get down to less than 1pound of pull or will I have to spend a couple of hundred bucks for a upgraded trigger?

2020年4月15日 · Same here, MK2 FVSR, has some extraction issues with CCI SV. Cleaned it, had savage send me an extra extractor and C-clip for free. What I did was put the 2nd c clip over the first basically doubling the force on the extractor and that has worked flawlessly across 4-5 different ammos, for the last 600-700 rounds. Very accurate rifle.
