Oct 14, 2018 · My San Pedro has been growing quite a lot the past 2 years, but very thin. It was windy the other day and found him tipped over. Not completely broke in half, only half way. So I tipped him back right side up and have braced him in place.

Aug 3, 2019 · Nice cactus, especially at the top! I think it is one of the San Pedro cacti (Trichocereus pachanoi or Trichocereus bridgesii). First, what you could do (against the bending), is to cut off the top, try to get it rooted and use that as the new plant. It is called propagation by cuttings, you might want to search google first on how to do that.

This hydroponics intrigues me though, maybe I will use my smaller PC San Pedro and clay balls and an air pump i have to see if it.increases growth! I have nutrient solution to add as well.

Apr 13, 2019 · I believe this plant is a Hylocereus, which is a genus of epiphytic jungle cactus. The brown patches you see look like corking which is the hardening/thickening of the skin/flesh in older parts of cactus plants. It's not a bad thing, but too much can indicate potential insect or disease problems.
