Sep 27, 2004 · Yea there is one in st.pete and hge usually does sail with 5.As for the water coming thru the keel trunk that happened on another SR 27 that was in sarasota.It also happens with the SR 21.This isnt a great amount of water that comes thru and wont sink the boat.The boat in st.pete is the one that we put a hurting on this past weekend

Jul 28, 2012 · SR 21--heavier than the Viper...probably a bit better upwind in slop. Rating ought to make up the difference in speed. SR 21 is not as wet as the Viper & should be better in the light stuff---it is a Henderson design, afterall. BTW, Glenn oversaw the build. C& C built a nice 25-probably the 21 is good too.

Dec 2, 2012 · The Pocket Rocket was a bit sticky in the light stuff, but was fast upwind in a breeze. What made her so fast? Light boat for 1983 (2200 lbs), but much heavier than the SR-21, very beamy (9'6" or so), powerful hull (firm bilges and flat bottom, combined with flared topsides), long waterline with a plumb bow (very unusual at the time).

Oct 14, 2004 · While i have never sailed on a U 20 i personally believe the SR 21 is a better boat.Its faster and alot cheaper.Boats that are in pretty good shape cost around 7500-9000 with a few sails.Im not sure how the competition is in the U 20 class so im not gonna bash them but competition in the 21 class is pretty good and racing gets pretty intense at ...
