It has the negative post on the left and the positive on the right (as you face the battery with the posts nearest you). The vent hose attaches to the other corner on the negative-post side.

2024年4月3日 · I have a 2024 Prius HEV Limited and I am wondering what type of 12v battery is in the trunk of the vehicle. It looks to be a Panasonic 345LN1-MF. Is this an AGM type battery or regular wet battery? I have a battery maintainer for the winter period and it has a setting for regular 12v and AGM 12v. Just double checking before I mess something up.

New 12v battery after P3000 code began to rule out that potential issue. Code goes off when car starts or shortly after beginning drive.

2024年10月19日 · Also watched several great YouTube vids on battery reconditioning and cell replacement. It seems that not all of the cells fail, but the system can't charge cells individually. Therefore the charging system can only charge the hybrid battery until the good cells are at full capacity (~7.2Ah if I gather correctly).

So I jump started, took it to the dealer and they replaced teh battery. 6 months later I went on another trip for one and half months, the car died again. It does not start. I read online that the 12 V battery is discharged and can be charged.
