Welcome to the website of Rod Blumenau, Seattle (formerly upstate New York) jazz pianist, composer and arranger. Rod has become a member of the Seattle Jazz Network, a fine Seattle 10-piece jazz band.

He arranges vocal, jazz band, and string music for students, plays nightclubs and jazz concerts, and is a first-call sideman in the upstate New York area. Each summer Rod shares his love and knowledge of jazz with adult students at the TriTone Fantasy Jazz Camp in Wisconsin.

"Jazz Impressions of the Beatles" with the Rod Blumenau Quartet. Rod's latest CD, featuring all Lennon/McCartney tunes performed in diverse jazz styles, was recorded live at the Rochester Institute of Technology in December 2009.
