2020年4月20日 · On this 250 I think I installed the linkage at the same time as the taller bars, but on my 450 I did bars first and call me crazy, but I think by pivoting my torso a bit more upright it got enough weight off the front to eliminate the front end twitch on corner entry (I only noticed this on sand tracks and high speed small chop on corner entry).

2025年2月8日 · Yes, it was a direct bolt-on. I bought the KYB ‘19-present RMZ-250 shock from a dealer in Tulare. I’ll have to check, but I believe I paid $550 for the shock. Then I bought a 5.7 Factory Connection spring. Running a RideEng. link, just like the way it balances the chassis.

2020年10月30日 · Saves 2-3lbs and adds power and smooths the delivery out. You could build a light weight bike from that platform. The 250 is a great platform. Akrapovic, titanium axles, Pirelli tires, titanium rim locks small things like that and you’ll be close to 10lbs lost!

2024年2月11日 · Bought the bike new as a left over at the end of 2023 for $5k. Mods are seat cover, retro graphics, Acerbis plastics, Yosh exhaust and Twin Air cage and filter. Once the weather cooperates I'll load the aggressive tune on the white coupler and enjoy.

2018年6月8日 · For those interested here are some pics of the subframe mods. It is relatively simple, I used a 2013 RMZ 250 subframe plastics and air box. The RM air boot bolts directly to the RMZ air box which made this super easy. I also used the RM seat with some slight Mods and it fit good enough, I dont think its bad but could be better.

2014年9月14日 · So I have been riding my 2004 RMZ 250 since about 2007, at one point, every weekend. I have never really had problems with the bike until a couple years ago. She doesn't like to idle much at all and most times takes a lot of kicks to start it. recently adjusted the valves, did a carb cleaning and rebuild, and thought that would fix the problem.

2013年12月10日 · So I have a 2007 Rmz 250. Bike works great, I recently just changed the shift detent spring to solve the false neutral problem. In the process I had to remove the clutch basket assembly.
