Located on the northwest edge of Bend, Riley Ranch Nature Reserve is 184 acres featuring 35 acres of canyon floor along the Deschutes River and a 30-acre band of rimrock cliffs. This mostly rugged terrain offers a near-to-home nature experience unlike others provided by Bend Park & Recreation District.

There are nearly 1 1/2 miles of compacted gravel path and soft-surface trail that navigate in a figure-eight loop through relatively untouched land features such as open meadows, juniper and pine forests, unique lava flows, cliffs and the river’s rocky canyon.

Riley Ranch is adjacent to the Oregon Dunes National Recreational Area. Physical address is: 93507 Riley Ranch Lane, North Bend, OR 97459. The campground currently consists of 114 reservable campsites with water and electrical hookups, and 2-16’x20’camping cabins.

Riley Ranch Nature Preserve is a 184 acre natural area that offers hiking trails and scenic views near the northwest edge of Bend. Please note that dogs and bikes are not allowed at Riley Ranch. To reach the preserve you’ll travel north from Bend on O.B. Riley Road, then head west on Glen Vista Road until turning left onto the park road.
