2012年7月21日 · Re: reverse gearbox ideas Look at Polaris Quads.They have belt-drive Transmissions,Hi,Lo,Rev. 2 and 4 wheel-drive,and models like the Sportsman have IRS.Some models are shaft-drive,others are chain-drive from the trans. to the axle.Yamaha Grizzly uses a small,compact IRS rear,with a shaft-drive.Hope this helps.

2021年1月30日 · As expected, the reverse is fast and the forward is slow and loud, due to the switched rotation. My question is, can the gears simply be switched? If the high speed 8:1 gear works on the reverse gear, would that imply that the forward and reverse gears are the same, and could be switched to make the speed proper again? Thanks! Luke

2022年9月8日 · With 212cc's you can have fun but you need to understand that you can't do wheelies and get 30mph. You can have a cart that launches well and get 23mph but if you want good climbing ability and 25+ mph then you'll need a bigger engine or a gearbox that gives you a bigger range of gearing than the torque converter.

Like title says...cart drives fine forward but selector is in reverse position. And goes backwards when selector is in forward position. This cart was sitting in a field for 3 years and the previous owner said he upgraded the motor. Could it be wires on back of motor need to be switched with wires on front of motor?

2009年5月31日 · The cart does not normally run in reverse at all. If I 'play" with the F/R switch I may find a setting where it will 'jerk' slowly in reverse. The batteries were replaced in 2007. They were topped off with distilled water and after extended charging and a 'rest period' they tested 6.16 - 6.22 volts each. Any suggestions why this cart won't go? 1.

2009年5月2日 · Dont know what year or model 36V cart you have, but mine is/was a resistor type which means there is a bankl of coiled heavy wire loops sitting behind the batteries. My reverse feed comes from a green battery cable coming off the forward/reverse switch that gets hooked to the third batteries Positive terminal.

2013年6月23日 · I have a 93 Marathon 4 Stroke and I was curious if there is any way to adjust my shift control cables. First of all they are backwards so reverse is forward and vice versa. They also seem to be loose and every now and then it seems to 'pop' out of reverse (when going forward).
