To remove a sea can door, all you need is an angle grinder to cut through the hinge pins and some help to set the doors on a pallet. Steps for cutting off container doors: Fully close and latch the doors Cut the hinge pins (bottom first and then the top) Open doors normally with help and place them on a pallet

Rotate and lift the latches above the handles to a vertical position. Pull both handles up and out towards you at the same time to release the door. Once both handles are pulled to be perpendicular to the container and parallel with each other, the door can be pulled open. Repeat steps 2-4 on the left door.

Lift up the door handles and twist slightly to make sure the cams and keepers are dis-engaged. Next take hold of the inner door handle first and pull out slightly followed by the outer handle and then pull them in tandem.
