Nordic does the same thing, probably for the same reason, because although it costs more than a one piece to make, it is the better way to go for the reasons outlined.

2010年3月22日 · You hit the extension hard enough with no clamp (Any brand), you can break the threads off leaving you with a single shot 870 while your spring, shells, and extension goes flying off. Since magazine tubes are brazed into place on the 870, your shotgun is heading on a trip to the Remington factory in Illion, NY for repair.

2009年11月8日 · I've got a Choate 7 shot (+2) extension for my 870 Express Jr. The extension came with barrel clamp that has a 1" sling swivel on it. Got mine at MidwayUSA. Last I checked, Midway had a few different brands that fit the 870 20 gauge. Note: the Choate extension is blued, and doesn't match the finish on the 870 Express.

2012年9月4日 · I have an 870 Tactical with 18" barrel and a custom 7+1 magazine tube even with the muzzle. Buy an extension longer than what you're going to need, measure and shorten it with a pipe cutter. Pipe cutters crimp the edges inward and you can use a piece of plastic to fill in the end. A follower or spring retainer would work too.

2013年1月18日 · 1. Ok, buy your extension from a reputable company such as Vang, Scattergun, Nordic or S&J Hardware. I'm not a fan of the factory units and I use the Vang. 2. After ensuring there's no ammo in the gun, unscrew the magazine tube cap, keeping your hand over the end just in case the magazine spring retainer has been removed.
