2019年11月17日 · I know it isn't "helpful", but the problem is indeed endemic to Rega's design, which fails to separate chassis and cartridge grounds. Some cartridges are more tolerant of this, others are less tolerant. Since it is normal (in fact, it's "designed to hum", so your dealer is telling the truth), the only real solution is not to buy a Rega P3.

2023年7月31日 · Rega make a number of different counterweights but as far as P3 and P6 are concerned the only difference seems to be the colour, indeed. If there is a difference to be had from the balance weight alone, then maybe by replacing the standard mild steel weight by a tungsten weight.
