2011年2月26日 · I'll admit I've used a tank for a different refrigerant after just pulling a good vac on it and never had any problems. Course I'd never do that with a tank that had a burn out refrigerant in there though. Easiest would probably be to just exchange it for a new one and let the tank company worry about the clean up.

2011年3月20日 · Store the recovery tank in a controlled environment for 24 hrs with an accurate thermometer. Put your gauges on and check the pressure/temp against a PT chart. This will work only if their aren't any non-condensables or contaminants present.

2010年12月20日 · Then sometimes tanks are available. there is the tank deposit, the tank cleanup fee (yes, i actually believe they cleanup every tank too, not), and the recovered refrigerant charge. Flat raters have nothing on this effort, so tracking the charges, deposits and returns etc is a pain.

2016年5月20日 · Finally, partially thanks to the POE oil in the recovered refrigerant, you can be sure that the recovery process will introduce some moisture, even with purged hoses. Make sure you install an oversized filter drier to the system before recharging, and this will help reduce any remaining moisture in the system.

Indeed it weighed 17.9 After about 5 recoveries using this tank I noticed that even during those recoveries the tank pressure gained about 70 psi. It now is at about 120 psi When I recover and all the unit refrigerant gets stuck only in the discharge hose off the recovery

2015年6月20日 · Yes. In fact that is exactly what the first refrigerant recovery bottles were. And you could buy the dual valve setup to convert your own bottle into a recovery tank from the refrigeration wholesalers. That was before 410a was out there, I'd be cautious on that point; need to find out the pressure rating of the tank first.

2024年8月28日 · By removing all liquid refrigerant and oil from the recovery tank and putting it back in the system it came from, any 'contamination' left in the tank is as minimal as can practically be achieved. And any that may get transferred to another system is easily taken care of by the new filter drier installed.

2004年9月4日 · Reason I'm asking is the 3 things that DOT requires on a recovery cylinder are: the month and year of last test/inspection. WC, water capacity of the tank in lbs. TW, tare weight, or weight of tank empty. Most of those cylinders I've seen just have a sticker that says don't fill over (xyz) Stickers are only on those tanks for the first year or so.
