Feb 17, 2007 · red wing sizing is troublesom, cuz different styles fit diffrently, even though they are the same size and last.. my 875 in D are still pretty tight, hope that theyll get broken in soon.. actually given me a bloody heal several times...

Sep 30, 2008 · So I finally bought a new pair of Iron Rangers at the Red Wing store in Red Wing, MN. After having read how they run large, I was surprised find out that they fit true to size. I regularly wear a 10D in almost everything, with a few exceptions. I tried on a 9, 9.5, 10, and 10.5, and the 10D fit like a glove.

Sep 30, 2008 · Sorry I don't know my Brannock size but I got the same size as I did for alden Indy boots and all my other redwings. I would regard this as going down a half size from my dress shoe size. Sizing down a whole size seems a lot to me. I'm a Uk 7 in some things and a 6.5 in the stuff than tends to run big.

Jun 5, 2021 · In more recent times, since nearly all brands have discontinued producing narrow width sizes, customers are using thicker socks or after market insoles to snug up a boot's fit. If your new pair of size 11D boots are a bit loose fitting Red Wing does produce some separately sold insole models that may help you achieve your best fit.

Apr 2, 2021 · I was just fit at Nick's plus I own some Red Wing Iron Rangers. I wear 10 1/2d in gym shoes, 10d in Red Wing lron Rangers ( 8 last) (but also fit great in a 9ee Iron Ranger. Nicks is putting me in a 9.5e for the Robert which is a 55 last. and it seems to be a good fit. Maybe this helps, maybe not but this is my experience.

Jul 23, 2012 · FWIW, I typically wear a size 9.0 in dress shoes and hiking boots and a 9.5 in Nikes (and a handful of other shoes). For a truly accurate fit, I should be wearing a 9 C in most shoes, but finding something in a C width is a tall order -- and more to the point, the two styles in question aren't made in a C width.

Jun 5, 2021 · The SIze US11 was long but a good fit for my foot width and I thought that a 10.5 would also work... wow was I mistaken. The 10.5 felt much tighter and gave me pinkie rub. I guess I have to accept now that my foot is an 11D width and that I will just have some extra toe space in most of the boots I buy.

Sep 30, 2008 · And on my right boot, the crease is a good bit before the toe cap, forming what you refer to as a "wave" ... neither boot hurt or irritate my feet at all ... completely comfortable ... Here's the shots... (also, for those who might be interested, these are size 8.5D which is a *full* size down from my normal shoe size of 9.5D.
