Mineru is the Sage of Spirit and, alongside her younger brother Rauru, one of the last remaining Zonai in Hyrule. During the Era of Foundation, the Zonai king Rauru founded Hyrule Kingdom with Sonia, a Hylian priestess. Like Rauru, Mineru inherited a Secret Stone from her ancestors.

Rauru and Mineru are the last remaining Zonai in Hyrule. In the distant future, Rauru's body is reduced to a Right Arm which holds Ganondorf in place until Zelda and Link arrive. When the two approach, his arm collapses, dropping his Secret Stone for Zelda to pick up and unwittingly use to travel back in Time .

When Princess Zelda travels back to the early days of Hyrule, Rauru and Sonia take her to Mineru to seek advice on how she can return to her own time.

When Rauru saw the hurry in which Zelda was, he said maybe his sister, Mineru, could help them, since she knew far more than anyone about the Zonai. When Zelda went with Rauru and Sonia to the castle, Rauru and Zelda visited Mineru to ask her of a way to return Zelda back to her era.

King Rauru, also known as the King of Light, is the tritagonist of the 2023 action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. He is a member of the Zonai Tribe and was one of the last known members of the tribe, alongside with his sister, Mineru.

Rauru organized the leaders of the Gorons, Rito, Zora, and Gerudo—the latter of which had been betrayed by Ganondorf after he became the Demon King—and together with Mineru and Zelda, they were each gifted a Secret Stone and collectively became the Sages after taking an oath of loyalty to Rauru.
