2006年11月15日 · I just finished mounting a new sewer hose storage tube this afternoon. I used a five foot piece of pvc with a transition to 6". I added a treaded end to the transision piece and a threaded cap that screws in. So, the hose fits into the 4" section and the adapter just fits into the short 6" section.

2016年1月15日 · It's not just the Rhino hose - the connectors at the RV end is an industry standard type but few of those hollow bumpers are sized to hold a hose with the connector attached. Duh! In any case, you can buy a manufactured hose container, or make one yourself from PVC pipe or a PVC fence post (square tube).

2005年11月16日 · That's where I store my 20' section of hose. (The 10' section goes IN the bumper). I have also seen rigs that have the PVC storage mounted under the rigs. Just mount the PVC across the frame members. Screw caps make them very easy to use. Finally, some folks use 4" square plastic fence posts for the storage. Good luck.

2020年11月22日 · I've not found those bumper storage tubes to be very useful overall. If you have space in the RV basement, put the sewer hose in a plastic tub or storage box. There will be room for more/longer hoses, angle fittings can stay on, and extra fittings can be stored as well. A simple basket or tub works fine.

2013年4月3日 · On my intruder the rear (Behind the wheels) is seriously "Cut" (means the bottom of the RV angles up sharply) so there is a lot and I mean a LOT of clearance, I mounted both a 4": and a 6": PVC pipe. the 4" holds pipes and such the six holds around 35 of the 55 feet of hose I carry, the remaining 20 feet is a Camco Self Storing hose.

2013年9月12日 · Dragging your hose in and out over rust causes pin holes. On my old 5'r, that one was rusted so badly, I used a plastic sewer tube and steel straps to hold it on. I just upgraded to a 2010 and the tube/bumper has surface rust inside.

2019年3月27日 · I was very happy with my Rhino Flex hose, then I bought a new rv. We bought a Winnebago, and the port for the sewer hose was too small to allow the hose to pass through due to projections on the connector. I ended up buying a 2 ft connector hose (I don't remember the brand, the connectors were red) and it fit through the floor of the wet bay.
