R5-D4, also referred to as R5 (Arfive) and called " Red " by Luke Skywalker, was a red and white-striped R5 astromech droid owned by a group of Jawas on Tatooine in the early days of the Galactic Civil War.

The astromech droid R4-D4 was owned by Finn Killifer and his organization. R4-D4 was programmed to pilot an N-1 starfighter to a safe location in an emergency. The droid got it's chance when Killifer's cloning facility on Nadiem was infiltrated by MI5 .

R4-P17, nicknamed R4, was a brave but cautious feminine R4-P astromech droid that was assigned to Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, prior to and throughout the Clone Wars. She was destroyed by a buzz droid during the Battle of Coruscant. R4-P17 was manufactured by Industrial Automaton sometime prior to the Clone Wars. [3] .
