2013年10月20日 · I'm going to be doing Gameplay Videos, and I don't want annoying CLICKCLICK in the background, but I stall want to get a Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. From my research, I belive that either the Cherry MX Red or the Cherry MX Brown are the way to go. If I am wrong, please correct me. Thanks!

2012年1月28日 · Do they make cherry mx blues without the annoying sound? I recently visited my local computer shop and I loved the feel of the blues vs the browns. The clicky tactile feel is amazing but the sound is annoying. I'm wondering if they have some sort of mod that dampens the sound. Thanks

2015年2月4日 · I have a Corsair K60 keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches. It doesn't make a lot of noise and the keys feel good for gaming but I tend to make more mistakes typing than on other keyboards because it is very easy to bump the wrong key. Cherry MX Brown is designed to be tactile but not noisy.

2024年2月21日 · I have a Corsair Strafe Keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches and I was hoping to make it a little bit quieter (Gf isn't a gamer and doesn't like the noise). I went to the local computer store in town they said that I could go the customized route and use O-Rings (or buy a Ducky Keyboard) but I have no idea what to buy or where to buy it.

2015年4月15日 · generally linear switches are better for gaming while tactiles are better for typing. the key dropout at activation combined with the tactile bump can mean an improvement on typing accuracy however hinder such things as double tapping a direction (still possible but hinders it slightly). linear switches on the other hand may feel strange to type on by some and might hurt …

2018年10月4日 · Between quiet switches, macro buttons and under 100$: you will have to pick 2 out of three. The Corsair Strafe Red LED doesn't look too gamery, is just at 100$, and offers a Cherry MX Silent option. But has no macros.

So, you could say I type a lot. I'd like to get a brown switch keyboard but that's out of my budget. And these two keyboards seem to be a good upgrade for my current one.

2023年1月22日 · If you are want to dab into the custom seen, I would recommend looking at Glorious GMMK 2 pre-built with their Fox liner switches. I'm typing on one as we speak but updated to their Glorious Panda's for personal feel. My son uses their Fox liner switches for this gaming keys on his GMMK Pro.

2022年4月14日 · Cherry MX covers a pretty broad range of switches. On the core of the switches, optical ones are in theory "faster" to activate. If it will make any noticeable difference to you would be hard to tell. From the several switches I tried, the optical version was a bit smoother in operation between similar switch models.
