2014年5月10日 · My CPU- and chassis-fan-settings are manual .... straight line up to 60 degrees and 100% fan. But that's my own preference, some other members might have different opinion about that. For my asus crosshair viii hero and 3950x my settings seem optimal ( at least for me ).

This basically controls the speed of the CPU fan at different temps. more like how it should behave. the first option is to enable or disable it. enabling this uncovers 3 more options, the start voltage, start temp and the temp at which fan speed should be max. 2015年5月20日 · Many can still control a 3 pin fan on a 4 pin header even with PWM enabled. Those boards when they do not receive the PWM signal from the fan automatically switch to DC control limiting the voltage that is constantly supplied changing the speed of the fan.. Being a Asus Maximus board it should adjust the fans on its own.

2015年6月7日 · Asus Z97 Pro Wifi I see options for Q Fan Mode that say PWM, DC, and Auto. I have set the Q fan mode to DC, yet when I enter windows both of my CPU fans ramp up, likely due to Ai Suite's profile. So I guess I could also solve my problem by somehow disabling this profile, but I don't know how to do that either.

2021年5月6日 · a utility offered by ASUS for motherboard control options within Windows. you should also make sure you have the latest BIOS and all motherboard drivers directly from the ASUS product support page. if there was a known fan header control problem, it would most likely have been fixed through either or both.

These are the things the control the fan running on the CPU I would assume and thus seem important but the truth is I know absolutely nothing for sure as to what these are and if it is a good idea to enable them or not--to know the advantages/disadvantages if you will.
