The PWS-26 was a Polish advanced training aircraft, used from 1937 to 1939 by the Polish Air Force, constructed in the PWS (Podlaska Wytwórnia Samolotów - Podlasie Aircraft Factory). It was the second most numerous Polish pre-war aircraft, after the RWD-8.

Production totalled 20 of each, and the excellent performance of these aircraft resulted in large-scale production of an armed trainer version, the P.W.S.26, which also had structural strengthening for use as a dive-bomber.

First flown in 1935, the PWS-26 was a succesful advanced trainer built in fairly large numbers for the Polish air force. Upon the invasion of Poland a dozen or so were evacuated to Romania and others to Latvia; 28 of the latter were later sold to Romania by the Germans, and the type was used in Romania into the 1950s.
